Arlo Design collaborated with Chroma Group on the recently completed Surf Hotel, Torquay, delivering bespoke joinery throughout the guest accommodation. Designed to complement the hotel's warm, tactile interiors, the custom joinery combines refined craftsmanship with highly considered detailing that is deeply connected to place.
A defining feature of the project is the extensive use of carved timber surfaces, introducing texture, depth and shadow across the room interiors. Precision-crafted and carefully integrated into each space, the joinery contributes to the hotel's distinctive character while balancing durability with the demands of a boutique surf hotel.
